Daniel York
Mr. York began his federal career at the Department of Justice, working for nearly 10 years on IT Policy and Governance, earning the Justice Management Division Special Commendation in 2012. Before joining GSA in 2014, he completed a detail at OMB's Office of the CIO. In 2018, he became Director of GSA's IT Data Transparency division, leading the Folio Federal shared service and Federal IT Dashboard. In 2023, he took over the U.S. Open Government Secretariat, promoting transparency and citizen engagement. He holds an MBA from UT Dallas and lives with his family in Springfield, VA USA.
