Dr. Cielo Magno is an Associate Professor at the University of the Philippines’ School of Economics. She previously served as Undersecretary of the Department of Finance. She has more than 25 years of experience in research and policy, working with governments, the private sector, and civil society. She currently serves as co-chair of the OGP Steering Committee and sits on the board of Bantay Kita, Action for Economic Reforms, Center for Energy Ecology and Development, Peace and Equity Holdings, and Tanghalang Pilipino. She holds a PhD in Law and Public Policy from Northeastern University.
