Nicolás Dassen has a law degree (University of Buenos Aires, 1994) and an LL.M in International Legal Studies (New York University, 1997).

He works as Modernization of the State Lead Specialist at the Innovation in Citizen Services Division, Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). His areas of expertise are open government, transparency, accountability, public integrity and corruption control. He lately expanded his work on Supreme Audit Institutions, public innovation labs, open data and big data projects.
