I am the executive director of the American Governance Institute, a U.S.-based civil society organization focused on improving government transparency and accountability at the federal level, with a focus on Congress and the Executive branch. We work to strengthen the institutions of government.

I chair the Open Government Roundtable, which includes 50 CSOs from across the political spectrum. I was recently appointed chair of the U.S. government's Open Government Federal Advisory Committee.
